Job Description:Profile - Sales Manager Siksha Uday Location - Lucknow Salary - Up to 5.25 LPA Industry - Life Insurance Experience - Minimum 2 years in Insurance Sales Job Description The person will be responsible for establishing Shiksha Uday Channel in the territory allocated to him. The role will involve identifying new business opportunities with schools, getting schools on board as partners build and nurture relationships with them and achieve defined sales targets for selling Insurance Policies to the parents of assigned school- residing in the nearby areas- through a team of 5- 8 Education Planners. Key Responsibilities 1. New school business development: Constantly identify the relevant schools and empanel them 2. Build and deepen relationships with the schools and develop a long term partnership. 3. To design and drive marketing activities to generate leads from the activities conducted in the schools for parents of school children 4. To distribute the generated leads to the team of Education Planners and to drive conversion into sales. 5. Delivering the pre-defined sales target (Annual premium, number of policies number of new school relationships, number of presentations/ activities/ lead generations in the school etc.) - within a cost budget. 6. Recruitment and retention of Education Planners: Will be responsible for hiring the pre-sanctioned number of Education Planners maintaining unit at 100% staffing. 7. Motivating the team and driving performance reviewing their productivity levels are met on a monthly basis. 8. Sales discipline and activities management: To drive, manage and review the key metrics- consistent lead and activity management and quality of business written reviewing team s productivity levels on a monthly basis. 9. Team development: Will be responsible for identification of the development needs of his team and facilitate training to develop the necessary skill sets- with the help of Training Manager. Will be responsible for constant coaching and mentoring team. 10. Implementation of sales processes: Will ensure that the business processes defined are adhered to recruitment and selection process, training processes sales and performance management processes etc are understood and followed by his staff. Will also provide feedback and help redefine processes where required to keep them relevant and effective in the market place. 11. Branch administration and compliance: Ensure the smooth functioning of the branch operations adherence to the defined processes and compliance to internal and external regulations.
