Job Description:Responsible for Supplier relationship management. Responsible for supplier evaluation and development activities for castings, sheet metal, machining etc. Develop quality system audit plans at suppliers, drive and monitor supplier approval and qualification as well as supplier development process, Implement quality process audit and quality product audits when required, Implement and negotiate Quality Contract with suppliers Implement Supplier Quality Management Program (SQMP) with all major suppliers, Follow-up quality certification status for all strategic suppliers, Drive corrective and preventive action program, continuously improve the accuracy of test and calibration equipment at suppliers, Make sure the technical specifications and drawings are in line with the suppliers documentation, Work closely with the incoming inspection team to provide guidance and recommendation, in accordance with Division requirement Strong ability to lead/coach suppliers in problem solving/root cause analysis and closure by effectively communicating within various levels of the organizations, both internal and external. Provide weekly communication of rejections to supplier. Provide weekly supplier quality related reporting. Troubleshoot Day today Quality problem with suppliers processes at their end. Resolve problems faced by supplier during manufacturing by analytical approach. Responsible for Developing and implementing quality management systems in manufacturing industries. Create and maintain company documentation, such as quality manuals, and quality procedures. Troubleshoot problems or flaws in the item provided and take necessary action. Maintain and control calibration records for all test and inspection equipment. Keep quality documentation up to date. Make sure that all QA records, data & information are available at any point of time. Participate in teams to help make necessary improvements and changes to all process related issues.
