Job Description:Key Roles &amp Responsibilities: Design, develop, test and support tools that meets the needs of the security ops team. Code, debug, compile, test, version, distribute, and support internal applications. Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand use cases, and clearly communicate technical information. Participate in secure software development life cycle development using agile methods. Provide visibility into task estimates, progress, quality, and completeness. Work with others to create consensus on design direction. Experience working with dev-ops tools like Chef, Docker, Puppet, Packer, Salt, Jenkins and practices like continuous integration and delivery pipelines. Knowledge across the spectrum of QA: white-box, black-box, load and stress testing, unit and system testing Languages: Proficiency with Ruby, Python, Java or Go required Strong experience with distributed source code control systems, like GIT Key Requirements Education &amp Certificates B Tech/MCA with 5 years of Dev Ops experience. RHCE is added advantage Key Requirements - Experience &amp Skills Knowledge of Oracle Linux, Redhat, or CentOS platforms. Programming languages Must have decent experience in Java. Having good experience in AWS,Docker and Cloud stack. Broad programming language experience is a big plus. Candidate must have the ability to choose the right language to solve the problem rather than just use whatever they know. Some experience with scripting languages, strongly typed compiled languages, as well as web technologies is required. - Version Control: Nice to have Git and svn experience. - Testing: Be very familiar with CI / CD, good in scripting like Phyton, Unix etc - Security: Experience implementing role based security, including AD integration, security policies, and auditing in a Linux/Hadoop/AWS environment. - Monitoring: Hands on experience with monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Nagios. - Backup/Recovery: Experience with the design and implementation of big data backup/recovery solutions. - Networking: Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, SMTP, HTTP, load-balancers (ELB, HAProxy) and high availability architecture. - Ability to keep systems running at peak performance, upgrade operating system, patches, and version upgrades as required - Implementation of Auto Scaling for instances under ELB using ELB Health Checks. - Work experience on S3 bucket. - IAM and its policy management to restrict users to particular AWS Resources. - Strong ability to troubleshoot any issues generated while building, deploying and in production support - Experience in Performance tuning, garbage management and memory leaks, networking and information security, IO monitoring and analysis. - Experience on resolving escalated tickets, performance problems and creating Root Cause Analysis (RCA) document on Severity 1 issues. - Achieved disaster recovery implementations and participated in 24/7 on-call rotation policy with other team member Web Application platforms: Apache Nginx Grails Ruby on Rails Java Servlet Containers (Tomcat, Jetty, etc) Tools &amp Technologies : Puppet+ Docker+DevOps Python, php, ruby, perl Java, html5,CSS, javascript, jquery Git,bitBucket, Bazaar, Mercurial, or other DVCS experience Chef, Ansible or other Configuration management system experience MySQL, Oracle, PostreSQL or other RDMBS experience Experience using DMBS from code. Understanding of database connections, connection pooling, result set streaming and pagination Experience designing RDBMS schemas and writing queries Experience with any NoSQL/Big data solutions is a plus.
