We are recruiting for Senior Manager in our Canadian Accounting/Tax Team.& amp nbsp Job Overview This role will be responsible for Canadian Accounting and Tax Compliance work for Canada Corporations. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for quality check of all final deliverables being sent to the client.& amp nbsp Identifies, anticipates and addresses important tax issues as they relate to the final deliverables. Executes assignments in an effective manner including appropriate delegation and monitoring of work. Utilize available tax technical resources to enhance Canada accounting and tax knowledge. Contribute to team discussions and share knowledge for the benefit of the group. Understand assignment instructions and applies them as directed seeks guidance when needed. Accomplishes results based on performance by delegating tasks on time. Understands personal and team roles as well as based on responsibilities and objectives. Attention to detail, deadline oriented and able to manage time. Assists new hires, answer questions and providing direction to complete deliverables. Respects and maintains confidentially of client, staff and firm information. Will be involved in conducting process consulting, accounting, and execution of other solutions of the organization. Interact with international client representatives for the ongoing requirements of the project. Consistently deliver quality client services and take charge of the project area assigned to him or her. Monitor progress, manage risk and verify key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate the ability to assimilate to new knowledge. Possess good business acumen. Remain current on new developments in accounting services capabilities and industry knowledge. Able to recruit and facilitate the Onboarding of new team members in Shared Services, along with Senior or Team Leads by following organizations Onboarding process. Manage Shared Services projects end-to-end without guidance and enabling seniors or Team Leads to manage projects end-to-end with minimal guidance. Plan for a periodic connects with all team members and provide constructive feedback to team members periodically and highlight performance goods and issues. Also, provide all necessary guidance to juniors on projects. Proactively discuss workflow management with the engagement teams, allocating resources to the assigned work and monitoring performance against standards. Monitor utilization for one' s team, budget to actuals, and other operational matters. Organized, self-motivated and mature with a strong customer service orientation. Help team members grow by encouraging them to actively contribute to the team. Lead by example, delegate work successfully and develop and maintain high performing teams. Conduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback and training. Use technology and tools to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery. Contribute to technical and soft-skills training to continually develop the team' s skills.
