Job Description:Purpose of the Role This role requires the individual to deliver successful and appropriate customer/business outcomes by ensuring the unit is efficiently planned, operating at optimum capacity, managing operational escalations, disputes and risks, leading E2E process re-engineering/automation initiatives to maximise efficiency gains, collaborating with support functions and ensuring engagement and development of the people What the Business does Verifies information submitted by applicants for accuracy and adherence to established underwriting criteria. This unit is responsible for obtaining any third party documentation such as titles, appraisals, insurance, down payment sources, etc. Prepares set-up packages and submits files into systems. May also have responsibility for retaining electronic images of all documents produced throughout the loan origination process. Your Responsibilities As a CS&O Unit Leader, your key responsibilities will be: Experienced professional in supervisory role, responsible for leading & motivating a large team of associates with the objective of achieving service delivery targets Accountable for results of team efforts by maintaining workflows and quality standards and meeting deadlines Works within clearly defined budgetary parameters and targets. Utilise resources optimally, reducing costs, increasing productivity Responsible for making variety of business decisions, some complex in nature, predominately affecting own area of responsibility Develop and execute the plan in place for effective training and accreditation Understand what the customer/business thinks and feels by actively reviewing key performance indicators (e.g. NPS / BrokerScore / Working Together Survey (WPS)) for the team to identify trends and take timely action to address areas of improvement Approve and maintain up to date process documents contribute to/lead the definition of performance indicators, measurement and reporting of critical Management Information to enable right decision making Required to maintain effective internal/external client/user relationships within own area of responsibility Proactive identification and effective management and/or escalation of conduct risk delivering key customer outcomes Conducts performance appraisal and identifies training and developmental needs for assigned team
