Job Description:A SAP payroll specialist with the HR offices to ensure accurate, timely and efficient administration of payroll UAT during the implementation of SAP payroll systems Processing of Payroll in Legacy system and SAP and analysis of GAP during parallel run Input and maintains employee payroll records in SAP, auditing for compliance with company policy, procedures and authorizations with cyclical deadlines Produces month-end journals and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts as well as assist in providing payroll information for statutory and tax audits Establishes and maintain a productive relationship with division contacts and internal staff in payroll, HR, benefits and accounting, maintain confidentiality at all times. Develop more efficient, streamlined processes to eliminate manual work focused on automation. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of payroll staff. Manage payroll workload to meet operational requirements. Ensure payroll is processed accurate (Zero % error), compliant and timely manner. Maintains payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures. Direct the preparation of payroll related documents. Administration of benefit plans. Compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements. Compile data from payroll sources. Prepare relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports. Prepare and review payroll account reconciliations. Review and improve payroll policies and procedures. Ensure all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements. Support all internal and external audits related to payroll. Process payroll checks for executive staff. Interpret new legislation impacting payroll. Manage and resolve issues relating to payroll production. Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation enforcing adherence to requirements advising management on needed actions. Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential. Maintains payroll staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. Maintains payroll staff job results by counselling and disciplining employees planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. Monitor the accurate processing of staff appointments, transfers, promotions and terminations Performance manage and develop payroll staff. Query resolution of employees as per defined norms. Accrual on monthly basis for new hire, statutory Bonus etc. Handling the payroll of international Workers with the compliance of Tax and social security Benefits.
