General Central Service Group &amp amp rsquo B&amp amp rsquo Gazetted. &amp amp nbsp Age: 30 years. &amp amp nbsp QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL: (A) EDUCATIONAL: Bachelor&amp amp rsquo s Degree in Commerce /Economics / Business Studies plus. &amp amp nbsp (B) EXPERIENCE: Two years Experience in Taxation Accounting in any Government or listed Private Sector Organisation or Firm of Chartered Accountant/ Cost and Management Accountant/ Corporate Secretary. &amp amp nbsp DESIRABLE: (i) Bachelor&amp amp rsquo s Degree in Law (L.L.B.)/Chartered Accountant / Cost and Management Accountant / MBA (Finance) / PGDM (Finance)/ M.Com. &amp amp nbsp DUTIES: (i) Quasi-Judicial authority appointed by the Govt. for the Implementation of CGST, Puducherry Goods and Service Tax and IGST Acts and Rules, 2017 and PGST Act, 1967, PVAT Act, 2007 and CST Act, 1956 in their jurisdiction. (ii) Verification and scrutiny of monthly return filed by the dealers for&amp amp nbsp ensuring proper tax is paid by them. (iii) Assessing authority to make assessment of tax in respect of dealers allotted to him and to realize tax dues to achieve financial target. (iv) Office Administration, guiding and supervising Sub-Ordinate Officers. (v) Maintenance of all registers connected with the assessment, collection, recovery arrear action, court cases. (vi) Act as Departmental representative for cases pertaining to the concerned division before Appellate assistant Commissioner. (vii) Conducting shop inspection, Lorry Check and Field visit for Survey etc. (viii) Preparing reply to A.G. Audit, Internal Audit Para and Annual Inspection Reports.
