Job Description:Position Purpose: To bring required synergy between the sub departments of Maintenance, Utilities, REPI and Projects. The position will directly oversee the supervisors in the mentioned areas and drive collaboration to a larger extent between these areas. Principal Accountabilities: 1. Be a champion of Cargill Safety and Food Safety processes and have them deployed in all process of the Department and be accountable for driving safety and Food safety in the Department 2. Be accountable for the REPI program implementation across the plant and have all personnel trained on REPI deliverables 3. Help build the M&amp amp amp R and project budgets every year for the plant and drive discipline across departments in adhering to the same 4. Accountable for the utilities of the plant in adequate measure and quality at all times. Ensure statutory compliances pertaining to boilers, other pressure vessels, waste water treatment, water intake and reporting to the concerned authorities as required under law and as specified in various permits 5. Directly overseee the projects undertaken at the Plant, irrespective of it being base, non base or improvement projects and be accountable for project safety, budget and schedule adherance 6. Accountable for the upkeep of the plant and its maintainence store management and ensure uptime as set in plant targets 7. Be accountable for hiring, training, perfomance management and engagement of personnel in the Department 8. Drive environment programs around energy reduction, water consumption, green house gas reduction 9. Maintenance &amp amp amp Reliability: Utilises technical skills and operational experience to run utilities, its equipment reliability, availability and operational efficiency/effectiveness Implements and oversees M &amp amp amp R process. Organizes, plans, and coordinates utilities and stores function. 10. Plant Operations:Ensures compliance with all business unit/facility policies and procedures as related to safety, housekeeping, inventory and operating supplies Utilizes technical skill to promote the identification and solution of workplace problems improving work processes and operating efficiencies.Food Safety, Environmental, Health and Safety 11. Food Safety, Environmental, Health and Safety: Recommends revisions to operating polices as applicable. Manages risk/loss potential to personnel, equipment and plant Maintenance &amp amp amp Utilities. Ensure in safety/environmental/food safety followed at work place. Provide necessary resources and training to the people for maintating safe and food safe work place participates in waste minimization program. Ensuring the utilisation of Food Safe materials / maintenance and operation 12. Utility areas: Boiler, RO/DM, Power Plant, Turbine Generation, Diesel Generation, 13. Plannning and implementation PM/PDM Schedules for the Plant Equipments and Utilities. 14. Also to have exposure in Budgeting for Plant maintenance and controlling the expense. 15. Knowlage on Automation , Insurumation ,Elaectarical 16. Identifiaction of Projecs/improvement and implementations of the same. 17. Should have exposure in Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance. 18. Planning of spares /inventory for the plant and controlling as per budget. 19. Leadership: Provide feedback and coaching to team time to time and motivate teamwork and collaboration. Supervise the Team of around 48 people (Utilities &amp amp amp Maintenance &amp amp amp EIA ) and facilitate their development and guide for better performance 20. Preparing yearly energy report showing plan Vs actual on site energy improvement PROJECT MANAGEMENT: a. Budget preparation for next year projects in both base &amp amp amp non base through detailed discussion with other departments &amp amp amp functions to support BU goals b. Follow up with senior management for budget approval for the proposed projects c. Preparing Job Request for individual projects in consultation with user department and getting approval from senior management d. Selection of suitable contractors/suppliers/vendors for each project and completing technical negotiation e. Selection of technology which will support plant operation and overall company strategy f. Execution of projects by following Cargill EHS standards g. Execution of projects with Cargill Project standards h. Commissioning of projects on time and within approved budget i. Demonstrating proposed payback of each project after commissioning j. Preparing monthly project update in standard Cargill format k. Co-coordinating with other departments for shut down planning and commission activities l. Selecting suitable consultant for designing civil / mechanical structures m. Execution of emergency projects arises time to time to support Customer demand, plant operation and business goals n. Ensuring timely payment to suppliers/contractors/vendors through follow up with stores and control function ENERGY MANAGEMENT: Be an Energy Champion at Site to support corporate goals on energy management a. Conducting yearly Energy audit at site &amp amp amp Identification of opportunities / gaps b. Soft solutions to reduce energy consumption &amp amp amp energy wastage c. Execution of actions through base projects to reduce energy consumption &amp amp amp energy wastage d. Preparing monthly energy report and tracking the improvement e. Interaction with word wide energy COE for getting update on energy improvement drive f. Creating awareness and energy improvement drive among plant team Other Requirements: a. Supporting Maintenance Supervisor and Utilities Supervisor during major break down crisis &amp amp amp during shut down activities b. Supporting pack supervisor to solve repetitive customer complaints through engineering solutions c. Supporting process mangers in the Mill and refinery to improve efficiency on consumptions and yields through engineering solutions/automations d. Supporting QC /QA manager to eliminate food safety issues through innovative solutions/automations e. Supporting logistic/WH manager to maintain FG storage systems through routing inspections/rectifications f. Supporting HR &amp amp amp Admin manager to ensure plant security through engineering /hardware solutions
