Fair understanding on Cisco switching & routing technologies Strong analytical skills for solving technical issues, isolation of application / network performance issues Deep knowledge in IP protocols and applications (Including switching routing, multicast, Voice, Video and data) CCNA / CCNP certification would be an added advantage Relevant experience in Cisco Voice/VoIP network operation & maintenance, NOC/GNOC operations experience is preferred. Excellent customer focusing and good interpersonal skills, especially a good/clear telephone manner Experience of working with Service Management systems, including remedy, ServiceNow Good understanding of customer commitments including SLAs, ITIL processes for Incident, Problem, and Change management. Responsibilities: Network operational support Cisco Voice solution including CUCM/CUCME, IP Phones, voice gateways, messaging, presence and other Voice application servers, and IP Telephony infrastructure including PoE switches, SRST routers, etc. Node Health Checks, Fault management on all NEs and follow up with support Resolution of trouble tickets raised by NOC / Customer Teams Implement network changes as per the CR process Support new Network node integrations and Acceptance. Support/co-ordinate network changes and configuration, and ensures changes and adding of new devices are compliant to pre-approved network design Monitor and perform critical changes, patches, upgrades on network infrastructure Monitor and manage capacity and performance issues Responsible for maintaining port-mapping, Impacted Device list, NIP (Target device Configuration) and MOP (Migration steps, Rollback Plan, Decommissioning Plan) documents. Co-ordinate with global IT resources, vendors and service providers for support and deployment Analysing, troubleshooting and correcting network problems.
