Job Description:( Female candidates who are break and want to resume back to work will only be considered ) The Candidate would be primarily responsible for: Specialized Accounting function including Rewards Accounting, Accruals, Prepaid expenses, Adjustments etc. Month end reporting and analysis Close interaction with accounting policy teams decide accounting treatment for business transactions and / or due to changes in business practices, accounting pronouncements etc. Ensuring that the integrity of the operating environment meets audit and regulatory standards. Financial Reporting Key Responsibilities: Establish very good understanding and conceptual knowledge of G/L functionality and dataflow for the G/L process within team. Provide financial close support to Regional/ Country controllers for Operations and Technology function and manage the process across different regions Ensure Data integrity - Accounting Adjustments, Financial Checks and reviews, Analysis and Business support Monthly / Quarterly reporting as per US GAAP Provide support / ownership / oversight on Key Projects and Initiatives at Global level as well as Integrated close level Ensure Strong Control environment at all times Continuous process improvements to make process efficient. Multiple stakeholder management. Strategic Process Improvements / Efficiencies Key Deliverable: Same as above Qualifications Required Education: Chartered Accountant/MBA Experience: 3 -10 years of relevant experience in Controllership function / finance function with experience of handling specialized / USGAAP based accounting processes. International exposure and shared services experience will be added advantage. Skills: Understanding of advanced accounting concepts, US GAAP/ IFRS. Ability to work independently with limited direction. Excellent analytical skills and a strong financial background. Advanced in Excel and Access database applications. Ability to analyze and react to problems and /or situations, ensuring that the overall process is not adversely impacted. Ability to handle multiple tasks covering multiple projects with varying delivery dates is required. Competencies: Ability to interface with all levels of customers professionally.
