Must have Skills : Security Event Monitoring and Incident Response Title : SOC Security Analyst - Splunk Support Tier : Tier 1 Career Levels : Level 11 Position Description- Position Scope: Security analyst will ensure the daily operations of monitoring and review within an information security environment. Responsibilities for Position: 1. Analyze potential infrastructure security incidents to determine if incident qualifies as a legitimate security breach 2. Perform network incident investigations, determining the cause of the security incident and preserving evidence for potential legal action 3. Interface with technical personnel and other teams as required 4. Produce security incident reports and briefings to be distributed to the team lead and manager 5. Monitor devices for potential threats 6. Initiate escalation procedure to counteract potential threats/vulnerabilities 7. Appropriately inform and advise management on incidents and incident prevention 8. Implements continuous improvement measures on daily basis
