Job Description:Process ownership for Change Management and Configuration Management Managing the Change lifecycle end-to-end. Working with client change manager to address the client requirements, process adherence and process improvements. Preparing, participating and/or Chairing in Pre- CAB meetings dependent on scope and audience of meeting Ensure all the RFC forms are accurate and all the required information is filled in properly. Formally communicating decisions of Change authorities to affected parties, ensuring Projected Service Outage (PSO) is captured and communicated as appropriate. Ensuring all RFCs progress through activity lifecycle in accordance with approved Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and agreed lead-times Performing Post Implementation Reviews (PIRs) and ensuring required actions are carried out Identification and escalation of unauthorized RFCs Ensuring planned implementation schedule does not conflict with other planned Changes or events Reviewing, monitoring and controlling the efficiency and effectiveness of the process and providing the recommendations for improving the process Producing Management information Ensuring that all the key performance targets of the processes are achieved Managing the configuration lifecycle end-to-end. Knowledge / Skills / Experience Previous experience working within a multi-vendor environment on complex infrastructure Previous experience of managing a Change and Configuration Management function and Good Understanding of Change and Configuration management tools and techniques Excellent working knowledge of all key service management areas Experience of effectively managing and resolving conflict Demonstrable experience in negotiating difficult situations to successful conclusion Excellent communication skills Experience with planning and timeline management Ability to proactively manage customer expectations A minimum of ITIL V3 foundation certificate must be held
