Job Description:Job purpose Provides strategic business analysis services to business partners, works closely with Business Units to gain in-depth understanding of business strategy processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates. This role will be key to understanding the documenting capabilities needed to address business challenges to the management in cost saving mode. Duties and responsibilities Responsible for reviewing the business processes from end to end, to identify and address operational, financial and technological cost risks, identify opportunity to improve efficiency. Identifies operational problems by observing and studying system functioning and performance results, investigating complaints and suggestions, interviewing process managers, completing troubleshooting procedures. Identifies operational priorities by assessing operational objectives, determining project objectives such as efficiency, cost savings, energy conservation, operator convenience, safety, environmental quality, estimating relevance, time and cost. Develops operational solutions by defining, studying, estimating and screening alternative solutions, calculating economics, determining impact on total system. Anticipates operational problems by studying operating targets, modes of operation, unit limitations, monitoring unit performance. Improves operational quality results by studying, evaluating and recommending process re-design, implementing changes, contributing information and opinion to unit design and modification teams. Focus to be on cost savings. Value Engineering, Re-engineering concepts implementation. Carry out process study and drive transformation initiatives and process audit. Conduct feasibility study. Provide cost analysis results to assist Senior Management in decision making or other financial initiatives. Perform variance analysis between actual and standard costs. Review monthly production cost activity during monthly close cycle. High impact ideas generation. Responsible for cost reduction. Drives organization to meet their strategic objectives. Directly interfaces with key leadership and functional experts providing insight and advice on Business Process Improvement approaches. Incorporates the use of Business Process Improvement Methodology and Tools into current business management processes. Stays current in the field through continuous learning, and internal and external bench marking activities. Provide support and maintenance to existing management information systems (MIS). Generate and distribute management reports in accurate and timely manner. Develops MIS documentation to allow for smooth operations and easy business process. Perform data analysis for generating reports on periodic basis. Provide strong reporting and analytical information support to management team. Analyze business information to identify process improvements for increasing business efficiency and effectiveness. Participate in cross-functional meetings to resolve recurring customer issues. Responsible for root-cause analysis of the business problems
