Job Description:Main job role &amp amp amp responsibilities 1.Handle Invoice Entry and Receipt Entry in Tally. (May also need to prepare Invoices, at times). Ensure that Debtors and GST accounting is properly done, Outstanding report is prepared and circulated to Partners at regular intervals. Monitor and follow up with partners and Clients and ensure collection is done within 30-45 days max. 2.Handle GST. Must compile tax liability, properly account input tax credit and file necessary returns. 3. For GST audit by Department- prepare details asked by them and answer all queries raised by Department. 4.Income Tax Assessments- get assessments done, prepare required details and submit to tax department. 5.Finalise payment of salaries, PF and Profession Tax. Must finalise annual taxation of employees after checking the workings made by the junior Accountant. 6.Ensure all quarterly and annual tax returns of the Firm are prepared properly and filed much before the due date. 7.TDS reconciliation with Form 26AS on a monthly basis and finalise the TDS credit to be taken while filing the tax return of the Firm. Must regularly follow up for TDS certificates from clients. 8.Working on power point as and when required. 9.Identification of revenue and capital entries, guide Junior accountant on correctness of account head, TDS liability etc. 10.Give required assistance to junior accountant and ensure that all entries at branches are properly received and accounted on time. 11. Capitalisation -- entries to be passed on transaction basis 12. Depreciation calculation annual exercise. 13.Handle year end account finalisation and audit and complete the exercise by end July every year.
